This web page can be used to search for World Columbian Exposition so called dollars(33 mm to 45 mm in diameter). It does not include foreign pieces or those with commercial advertising(store cards) - for store cards, CLICK HERE. It includes everything in Hibler and Kappen's book, Nathan Eglit, and anything else I could find. I have also included all pieces that used the same "ALUMINUM" reverse die that was used on HK161 even though some of them may not have been associated with the World Columbian Expo. Use the "FIND" function of your browser to type in a word, inscription, or HK or Eglit number. Searching for World Columbian material is sometimes problematic due to the same inscriptions being used over and over on different pieces. The many different die combinations can also be confusing. If possible, find a word or phrase that you think might be unique or at least common to only a small number of pieces. Skip from one entry to the next(usually by hitting the return button on your keyboard) until you find the description that matches exactly. Inscriptions have to be typed in exactly with single spacing between words. Also be careful to include punctuation. Sometimes periods can look like commas and visa versa. Try typing both ways if there is any doubt. Dashes should also usually be included, but quotations maybe or maybe not. Underscores(low dashes) probably not.

Many of my entries are linked to an identifying image. I sometimes fabricated images by using obverse and reverse images from different pieces. I may add more images later. For other images you can search through Tom Hoffman's World Columbian site.

To view all of my images all at once, Click Here

I give my best guess as to rarity using the same descriptions that were used in the first edition of HK. I have also included at least one reference where the so called dollar was found.

If you see any errors or discrepencies, let me know. Puting this list together was difficult and confusing. World Columbian material is a bottomless pit.
