219) This medal commemorates the opening of the famous Brooklyn Bridge. "Two Cities As One New York & Brooklyn". Almost always found in white metal, but have also seen described in gilt and nickel silver. Although it is fairly common, it is very rare unholed. Scarce, maybe very scarce. White metal, 35.5mm.
220) This piece shows The First Infantry I.N.G. Regiment Armory in Chicago with an ALUMINUM reverse. In tiny lettering: "Childs, Chicago.", Rare and usually found in Unc condition, Rulau Chi 8, Aluminum, 37mm.

222) Today the "Iron Bridge" is called the Frisco Bridge, and was previously called the Memphis bridge. Built in 1892, it is still in use today, and was the first bridge to cross the lower Mississippi. Very rare, extremely rare in Unc. Aluminum, 34.9mm.
223) "Old Sugar House Rose St. N.Y." Evidently minted at the time of it's demolition in 1892. Rare to very rare in either bronze or white metal. White Metal, 44.1mm.
224) "To Commemorate The International Opening Of The Philadelphia Commercial Museum June 1897", The obverse of this piece is similar to HK644. Rulau Phl A78. I have found this piece to be rare, and usually unc. Silver, 34mm.
225) "Commemorative Of Establishment Of The Capitol In The District Of Columbia", A large (and thick) so called dollar. This medal was evidently made from bronze taken from the original capitol building of 1800. Very scarce, maybe rare, and sometimes found looped with ribbon and hanger. Bronze, 44.3mm.
226) "New State Capitol Harrisburg Penna.", "Dedicated Oct. 4. 1906". "Virtue", "Liberty" and "Independence" on curled ribbon. Also found in white metal. Very to extremely rare in white metal or bronze. Bronze, 37.6mm.
227) A larger so called dollar. "In Celebration Of The 175th Anniversary Of The Founding Of The Redwood Library And Athenaeum Newport R. I." In tiny lettering on the reverse: "Newman, N.Y." Rare, Bronze, 44.5mm.
228) Another anniversary of a local entity, this time the Cincinnati Zoo. "Golden Jubilee Anniversary / Cincinnati Zoo / Sept. 18 1925", Rare to very rare. Bronze, 36mm.
229) Completed in just 3 years for the Great Northern Railroad in 1928, the Cascade Tunnel is still the main rail route through the Cascade Mountains, connecting the port of Seattle with places east. For many decades it was the longest tunnel in the western hemisphere. Very to extremely Rare, Brass, 34.7mm.
231) The Pennsylvania Turnpike set the standard for modern superhighways in the United States. This "Eastern Extension", built in 1950, was the first expansion completed following World War II. Rare. Nickel or Nickel silver, 38.2mm.
232) 1952 United Nations completion medal. I bought it off ebay, and it is the exact same piece that sold in Johnson & Jensen sale #25 lot#479 in 1983. I have seen one other of these on ebay that was not as nice. Struck by the Medallic Art Co. Very to extremely rare. Yellow Bronze, 38.4mm.
